Instead of a white Christmas it looks like we're going to have an all too white New Year's Eve in most of Hungary. It's definitely white in Budapest:



Actually, it looks rather scary - the Middle and Eastern parts of Hungary are marked as not to be undertaken by car on Index (Not that train would be much of an option - if they are not cancelled then count 3 hours for 30 minutes.) All this is pretty worrying. I've got some friends coming from Kaposvár... I would be much reassured if they'd wake up tomorrow and say, to hell with Alice's New Years party, we're fine where we are.

Yeah there is so much mess about snow here. Yesterday one of my friends couldn't meet his Italian friends at the airport, because they have landed in Slovakia instead Budapest! I wonder if they finally reached the city Very Happy
