I take it that everyone living in or passing through Budapest has already had the pleasure of bumping into big attractive cows, coming in different shapes and size. Yes, they are everywhere, invading parks, squares and crossroads. One of them even had the audaciousness to turn his massive back on the Basilica. Well that one didn't last for long, a group of infuriated believers carried him off to demonstrate the meaning of respecting religion. Say, weren't we boasting about religious tolerance compared to fanatics rampaging over some harmless sketches? Never mind... The other cows are safe and sound.

Thought I'd show you my favourite. The Rubik-cow on Kálvin square:

Hi Alice

Glad to see you haven't melted away in this hot weather.
I am still here too...I guess I am just blending in these days and have been a bit lazy in keeping up with friends...oops!

Well...I hope we can start to meet up again occasionally, and perhaps in the winter even get the regular meetings going again. I can't help feeling that in the winter the appeal of a cozy restaurant, hot food, hot wine, hot chocolate and a chat does seem more appealing.

Nevertheless, I am finished act school for the summer holidays, so if anybody would like to meet up for lunch, coffee, chat...then I am up for it.

As far as cows go...I was very disappointed I didn't get to see the melted cow who's arse was facing the Basilica.
I can't quite understand how those responsible for its destruction and removal can object to arses so much considering they disappeared up their own a long time ago. rofl2

I hope it returns soon.

Ok...be in touch (and I will make a greater effort myself Embarassed)

Scott

The only good cows are those that are for milking!

Milk;

Butter;

Cheese.

Those that worship these animals... so be it! A fallacy and a urban legend.

Here's the cow shamelessly showing her big butt.

Asking to be punished for blasphemy, isn't she? Wink
