I was going to take the metro yesterday - but then something made me change my mind:





I've heard experts state in the TV that the present weather cannot be considered as extreme. I don't know, for my part I can't recall any such storms in Budapest as the ones we've been having regularly in the past one or two months. I've seen heavy rain yes, but not the likes of the one that fell yesterday or the week before. And certainly not one that would have been accompanied by such a ferocious wind. Thought it was going to break the tree in front of our window - it very generously settled for a couple of massive branches. I wouldn't be a car these days, parking outside and praying for my windscreens...

Looks serious. I don't know about our governments but you know what, I'll trade our tropical-rain-storms for your snow. I'm much keener on skiing than swimming Mind you, no floods though.
