Hi all

Now Spring is here I thought I might try and arrange a casual meet up for anybody who would like to take a pleasant afternoon stroll whilst chatting about...well whatever they feel like chatting about!
I am proposing (again, with a little more notice) to meet anybody who fancies it this Sunday at 1.00pm 18th March in Nelsons cafe, which is at the Astoria end of Dohany. We could have a coffee/beer/bite to eat then trot off up Gellert Hill. It was beautiful up there last weekend and the lizards are out again so it must be spring.
Should it rain, then we can do something else (drink more coffee etc)
It will be a chance for anybody new to beautiful Budapest to meet others, and a chance for us more established types to meet old friends and new ones.
I will be there...so we have one already (it's actually my local so it is easy for me), but if you think you may want to come along stick a post in.
Hopefully we can get a little group together like in the days of the Brummies! Did they get replaced with more Brummies??
It would be good if we could make meets more regular like when the forum first set up. These things do go in fads though.
Anyway...look forward to seeing..well anybody who wants on Sunday.

well I guess it was a bit short notice, and only three members have logged on since I put it up.
It also seems this forum has faded out as many of the regulars are not checking it anymore
Serves us right for not posting enough.
Oh well
I will check again tomorrow in case anybody has a last minute craving to take a stroll, otherwise I will propose the same agenda for next weekend 18th March as long as we are not caught up in the middle of a full scale revolution after Thursday.
