Dear Everybody, Very Happy

This thread is supposed to host a collection of useful links for learning Hungarian.

Although Hungarian is not a world language (and with less than 15 million native speakers there is but little chance of it ever becoming one), nevertheless, due to some strange circumstances you might suddenly feel incited to master this rather complicated language.

Whatever your motivations might be, and whatever level you wish to obtain, I sincerely hope that the following link collection will be of help to you.

Since I managed to absolve my first Hungarian lessons even before I could walk Wink I am counting on your help for coming up with more pertinent information on how and where to learn Hungarian.

Arrow A great site for learning Hungarian:

Hello everyone!

Just joined, and thought I'd contribute with some useful content. Smile Here's a link to a site about hungarian language, with lots of useful info: you can even hear the pronunciation of everything that is taught in there!

Hope you'll find it useful.

PostSubject: Please help   Sat 6 Sep 12:54

Hello Everyone,

I would need some help from those of you who are/have been studying Hungarian.

I am a postgraduate student on the MA in ICT and Education programme at the University of Leeds, and as part of my coursework I was asked to create a web-based learning environment. Being a beginner Hungarian learner myself, I decided to create a website for practicing Hungarian called MAGYAR NYELV ONLINE.

It would be great to have your feedback on the site, which you can give by completing my questionnaire (only 10 questions!) after having done some practice. The URL link to the questionnaire is
Code:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=cy94ZK8JD_2bGfeKKVas0EmA_3d_3d
. Please note that the site was created with beginner learners in mind, and that ONLY the TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT theme is active.

The URL link to the site is: http://www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~ed06lj
The password is: MNYO

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,

Larry
