PostSubject: Dogs and hostels, taxi's, trains etc...   Mon 5 May 0:21

Szia,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any VERY VERY VERY cheap hostels that accept dogs in Budapest. I am looking for the cheapest of the cheap (I don't care about quality). How much would a one star double room normally cost?

Can dogs travel on trains in Hungary/Budapest? What about in other forms of transport such as taxi's and trams?

My dogs are not under 6kg, one is medium sized.

Please help me, any info about moving around Budapest with dogs would be great.

confused

Hello,

Dogs are allowed on all public transport but only with a valid ticket and muzzle. If you want to use a taxi, you must call up the taxi company before and order a taxi which will accept a dog (city taxi have english operators).
No idea about hostels sorry.

You can hire a cheap apartment as well. Hostels usually don't allow pets, but most apartment owners do. As I know prices start from 35-40 EUR/night. Usually there is no breakfast or any meals, you would have to take care of dinig for yourself. For example here is one cheap apartment
